Elon Musk of Tesla appreciates rival the newly launched electric Ford Mustang

Rivalry can be healthy, and Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk has proved it. Musk, having a reputation for his Twitter threads against his rivals, has taken to appreciate the all-new electric Mustang Mach E. Instead of mocking his competitor, he welcomed the healthy competition. Ford’s Mustang Mach-E is the first electric model in the automobile’s Mustang vehicle lot. The vehicle was introduced at a Sunday night event. The Mach-E is the only four-door vehicle with the name “Mustang” on it. Mach-E, categorized as an SUV by Ford, will be a direct competition to Tesla’s Model X SUV. However, Musk did not seem to be bitter about his competitor from Detroit. He took it to Twitter and congratulated the Ford on the launch in his tweet.

“Congratulations on the Mach E! Sustainable/electric cars are the future!!” Elon Musk tweeted. He further wrote, “Excited to see this announcement from Ford, as it will encourage other carmakers to go electric, too.” With Mach-E Mustang, Ford has paved the way for its future in the world of electric car technology. Ford declared that the owners of this vehicle, they will be receiving two years of car charging for free. Its network has been spread over the country with 12000 charging stations. Here is where Ford makes a difference. Ford has given the liberty to charge its Mach-E at any charging station, whereas Tesla can be charged only using Tesla’s Supercharger network.

The starting price of the new Mustang is $43,895. For more features, the cost can go up to $60,000. A deposit of $500 on the Mach-E Mustang is being accepted, and the first Mach-E vehicle is set to come out in late 2020. In other news, Tesla is holding an event on Thursday night at Hawthorne, situated near Los Angeles, where it will reveal its “cyber track”, which is supposedly the first electric pickup truck.
